Terms and Conditions of Hire 

Hire period

The hire
period will depend on occasion, venue rules and item hired.
 

Delivery/ Collection 

You are very
welcome to collect smaller items from my address in Tamworth at no extra
charge, if you prefer for me to deliver and collect the items for you and your
venue is 10 miles or more outside of Tamworth then there is a charge of 50p per
mile. A minimum delivery charge of £10 each way applies. Delivery and
collection date and time will be agreed with you on confirmation of order.
Please ensure that items delivered back to me have been re-packed safely in the
original boxes. Larger items will have to be delivered and will follow the
above if your over 10 miles of Tamworth.
 

Prices/ payment 

A deposit of
50% of the value of the hire is due on confirmation of your booking to secure
your order, this is non-refundable. Payment can be made by cash or online bank
transfer (sorry cheques not accepted). The balance of payment is due 30 days
prior to the event along with a refundable breakage deposit. A refundable
breakage deposit of 25% of the total hire cost is payable at the same time as
your balance. This will be refunded on the safe return of the items.
 

 If delivery date is within 30 days of booking
then full payment along with 25% refundable breakage deposit is required at the
time of placing your order.
 

Charges/ damages 

We do know
accidents can happen!! Please let me know about any items damaged or smashed or
missing when returning items or when collection is made.
 

Breakages/
damage/ loss items will be charged at 3 times the hire cost. The breakage
deposit will be refunded once all items have been checked and the order deemed
to be complete and in good order. I will advise you of any item(s) found to be
damaged, broken or missing that have not been reported at collection stage
within 24hrs of collection will incur a charge which will be deducted from the
breakage deposit.
 

Cancellation Charge

If for any
reason you have to cancel your order the following charges will apply on top of
your deposit (non-refundable).
 

Notice of
cancellation less than 14 days prior to delivery – 100% hires charge.
 

Responsibility

Goods
supplied at all times remain the property of “Party Perfectionist”. You are
responsible for the goods from the time they are collected/ delivered. This
responsibility only ends when the goods have been collected/ returned to me.
 

Your
responsibility includes safekeeping and protection of the goods in your care.
No responsibility can be accepted for any injury or damage caused by the hire
items, however caused.
 

Positioning of Items

Some items
are heavy and once placed in the location that you require will not be and
should not be moved for any reason.
 

Handling of sweets

When filling
the jars with sweets hygienic gloves will be worn and will be done in a
hygienic room. Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety for Catering Certificate can
be seen if you request it.
 

Insurance

I am fully insured. 

 Home Venues 

IF ITEMS ARE AT YOUR PREMISES AND NOT AT A VENUE PLEASE DO
NOT PLACE ITEMS IN A ROOM YOU SMOKE IN, SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ROUND ITEMS OF
HIRE.
 

PLEASE KEEP PETS AWAY FROM ITEMS OF HIRE.
